No Woman Comes After Me!” – Mary Biketi Reveals Her Bold Strategy for Handling Marriage Rivals to CS Oparanya.

Mary Biketi: “After Me, There’ll Be No Other Woman”

Mary Biketi is clear and unapologetic about her place in her partner’s life—there will be no woman after her.

The 31-year-old joined Masawe Japanni on Radio Jambo on Wednesday, April 9, to talk about a cause close to her heart: a new youth-focused foundation in Kitale, aimed at empowering Gen Z by addressing the unique challenges they face today.

During the candid conversation, Biketi shared—for the first time—the story of how she met the former Kakamega Governor. According to her, it was a random but fateful encounter.

“We met at Wilson Airport en route to Kisumu. We happened to be on the same flight. I didn’t know him personally, but he came and sat next to me—and that was it. The rest is history,” she recalled with a smile. “He introduced himself, and my heart instantly warmed.”

She added, “He said, ‘I’m so and so,’ and I already knew who he was—he was the Governor at the time. But things didn’t start right away.”

When asked if it was love at first sight, she laughed and replied with a cheeky, “Next, please.” After a little nudging, she admitted, “No… it happened later.” The pair bonded over their mutual love for Rhumba music and still enjoy spending quality time together.

“He’s a very responsible father. A good man. People judge him harshly when it comes to women, but they don’t really know him,” she said.

Biketi expressed her happiness that their relationship has been publicly acknowledged, confirming that they are, indeed, married.

“He’s a polygamous man, and people will always have opinions—but that’s okay.”

On Sharing Her Husband

How does she manage life in a polygamous relationship?

“As long as I’m content and have everything I need, I don’t stress. He’s free to move around, but he always comes back to me. I keep myself busy—what else can I do? I’m used to it.”

She didn’t hold back when addressing women who attempt to pursue her husband.

“I check his phone and block whoever needs to be blocked. We both have access to each other’s phones. These girls! It’s overwhelming. Some still try to force their way in. I just block, block, block.”

Biketi emphasized that only messages from his current wives are allowed to remain.

“Only the in-house wives are allowed. After me? Never. I block them. Some even send explicit photos. It’s unfortunate. Sometimes I respond just to see what their intentions are—they want to meet him, seduce him. And yes, some may be prettier, curvier, more educated—but I block them all. He’s told me he’s satisfied with the women he has. No more.”

Lessons from a Polygamous Union

What has she learned from her journey?

“Respect the other wives. Respect the children. That’s why when our relationship went public, no one came out to complain. I truly respect them.”

Would she ever consider dating a younger man?

“No, thank you,” she said firmly.

As the interview drew to a close, Masawe asked the big question: Is she officially married?

“Yes,” Biketi confirmed. “He’s even visited my family. But I don’t talk about him too much out of respect for others involved. It’s not a good feeling seeing yourself trending online.”
